As a dedicated and goal-driven educational leader, Jacinda Waldrip serves as the Director of Curriculum & Instruction for Carbon County School District #1 in Rawlins, WY. With over two decades of experience in the Wyoming educational system, Jacinda has built a career defined by a steadfast commitment to the social, emotional, and academic growth of every student.
Throughout her tenure, Jacinda has become a recognized expert in building and sustaining high-performing educational environments. Notably, she served as the Assistant Principal at Rawlins Middle School during its successful application and designation as a National Model PLC @ Work School. This achievement reflects Jacinda’s deep expertise in fostering collaborative cultures and implementing instructional best practices to drive measurable student success.Jacinda Waldrip’s leadership extends across all levels of district operations, including:
- Curriculum & Assessment: Leading district-wide curriculum mapping, pacing development, and the implementation of common formative assessments.
- Strategic Data Analysis: Utilizing standardized testing scores and data analytics to drive programming recommendations and instructional shifts.
- Grant & Policy Management: Ensuring state and federal grants are strategically aligned with district goals and overseeing the implementation of Title IX and district-wide policies.

Highly regarded by peers and the community alike, Jacinda was named the Wyoming NAESP National Outstanding Assistant Principal for 2022-2023. She is also the former Assistant Principal of a National Model PLC @ Work School. Jacinda, holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction and an Administrative Endorsement from Chadron State College, building upon a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wyoming.
Beyond the office, she remains an active community member, serving as a 4-H volunteer leader and a tireless advocate for excellence in Wyoming education.
