About me
Beth Lougee, The Wyoming Department of Education Statewide System of Support Program Specialist, has over 28 years of experience in the public education field that ranges from special education teacher, school counselor, director of curriculum, principal and superintendent. She has a deep understanding that education, like every other major institution in the world, evolves and changes over time. She has studied and applied the vast and complex structures of the federal, state and local laws governing public education in Wyoming, Alaska and New Mexico. Beth has countless experiences supporting families and educators in developing the best interventions and systems of support to help students succeed in school.
Beth was born and raised in Northeast Wyoming. She enjoys traveling, reading and adventures that provide opportunities to try new things. Beth is often heard saying, “Education is my passion and working as a team to help build a future for all students is my goal.”
